The energy shocks of Ukraine and the Iran war have made one thing undeniable: energy security is a first-order political and economic concern.
But for too long, the energy debate has been framed around an incumbent narrative of slow progress and insurmountable barriers.
The reality is that renewables and electrification are growing fast and now dominate new energy supply. We are at the beginning of a new industrial era defined by technology, not fuel.
Energy After Fire was a half-day, invite-only summit at London Climate Action Week, bringing together the builders, investors, and enablers of the electrotech revolution.

Energy shocks, cyber risks, defense tech, and supply chain upheaval are placing energy security at the top of national agendas. How does electrotech help countries reduce vulnerability and gain independence? How can incumbents and disruptors prepare for the new energy order?
Session 3: A New Day for Europe
How Europe can harness electrotech to escape fossil dependence, regain sovereignty and catalyse growth
Nearly 60 percent of Europe’s energy comes from fossil fuel imports, and it is very vulnerable to high electricity prices and global supply shocks. At the same time, Europe has an opportunity to harness its leading electrotech companies and regions to chart a new path forward. How can electrotech help Europe escape its fossil dependency, regain sovereignty, and catalyse growth?
